Margam Country Park is a managed green space in Swansea with woodland edges, paths and mown and unmown ground side by side. It is part of the Neath, Port Talbot & the Neath Valley area, within about 30 miles of Swansea.

  • Cistercian monks founded Margam Abbey in 1147; the Mansel family took the estate after the 1536 Dissolution.
  • The park holds Tudor-Gothic Margam Castle and one of Britain's largest eighteenth-century Orangeries.
